Old is Old is Old

So, I was wrong. Old is old, no matter how you cut it. After just 6 hours in the kitchen at Miracle Camp, I ended up with exhaustion symptoms (weakness, rapid heart, nausea). The noise levels on top of tinnitus (fans, refrigerator hums, banging pans, voices) pushed me way-way into stress mode, which isn’t surprising, and I had to strain like crazy the whole time just to hear instructions. I smiled my way through it, was chipper and upbeat, and worked like a beaver, but in reality wonder if it can get better. More opportunity to find out tomorrow - ! The people there are servants at heart and the whole atmosphere is so inspiring. They are doing a great work, and it would be a privilege to be part of the program.

Grace, Lord, more grace.
