Another Step Outside the Box

Tomorrow morning we visit Solomon Wickey, the renowned Amish master herbalist with a gift of spiritual discernment and healing. It will be yet another step outside the conventional western medicine box, a BIG step this time. I am excited, expectant, curious, anxious, hopeful, humbled, and a little bit scared, all in the same breath. I don’t know what to expect, and yet feel that whatever happens could well be inspired by God. It feels a little sqirmy-and-spooky, a little electrifying-and-adrenalizing, as if to remind me that seeming dead ends are not necessarily so dead, and there’s always more HOPE when God is in charge.
