As you might expect, two lifestyles (with two houses, two church homes, two sets of friends in two different states) requires TWO CHRISTMAS TREES. Today I’m posting some pictures of what I call the rustic metropolitan tree (an oxymoron) here at the lake – a medium-sized artificial decked out with mostly sportsman and outdoor-theme ornaments. Note the close-up shots of my favorite clear blown-glass ornaments that lend a touch of class amidst the ice skates and snow skis and Santa fishermen! Next week a post will feature the real-deal tree back at Buck Creek – a hardly-perfect Charlie Brown juniper cut from our pasture that will be decked out with gold and red glass balls. Ah, the joys of multi-personality trees to cover the diversity of our split lives.
