Ah yes - Christmas afternoon with Grampa. Sounds like the title of a CD, doesn’t it?
Fritz decided he’d entertain himself (and me) here in Michigan on this otherwise quiet Christmas afternoon. So he sat at the piano and played all the really hard-to-play Christmas songs he almost-never-ever chooses because they’re too much WORK.
It was a marathon. One by one he clicked them off, from Dino’s arrangement of “Angels We Have Heard on High” to the entire musical score from the movie “Snowman” and everything in-between. There were some smooth spots and some bumbles. Overall, speaking as one with hearing issues, it was an auditory….um….delight.
I’m including a picture for a little visual evidence. I think this was taken while he was plowing through something with 4 or 5 flats.
