Here are pictures of the Christmas tree pictured in the 12-21 blog, only this time it’s wearing different apparel (decorations) in a different location (house and state).
This time instead of the Rustic Metro Tree I dubbed it the Country-Gone-Posh Tree. The outdoorsy, sports-theme ornaments have been packed away in Michigan. Here at the Indiana farmhouse the tree’s branches are loaded with red and gold glass beads and balls, and it is topped with a fluffy gilded-and-red bow rather than a stiff, if reverent, angel.
I suppose it’s an honor for the same cheap-o (Big Lots $20) artificial tree to portray two different images in two different locations all within two weeks. Maybe it feels like a model - showing off fashionable sporting attire and then getting dressed for Cinderella’s ball, even though in reality it is a member of the lowest caste of plastic with an artificial identity.
