Greed. Envy. Entitlement.
Maybe this trio of vices convinced someone two weeks ago to
abduct another person's beloved pet in broad daylight.
Maybe they whispered, “Take him – take him as your own! He’s beautiful! And so friendly! You know you want him!”
Maybe this very special dog is gone forever, or maybe he’ll
somehow, by the grace of God, return to his rightful owner. If that is not to
be, I hope and pray he will be loved and cherished as he was up until that day two weeks ago when he
disappeared without a trace.
