Lilies of the Field

Where is that fine line between walking by faith and ignoring responsibility? In other words, is there such a thing as a pro-active “lily of the field” (Matthew 6:28)? Where/how do implicit trust and practical planning merge?

I wonder what it feels like to “be” lilies. They obviously don’t work at it.
