The ice storm has passed, and the snow squall that followed it.
Our hushed landscape, dormant and blanketed in fresh white, waits patiently for the thaw. Meanwhile the lake winks playfully: it lost its ice cap a few days ago.
I discover eager green daisy leaves introducing spring even beneath the snow, and hear the harmony of creation that sings without a sound.
