Foosball Again
For many years we hoped to own the property on the other side of the road from our house, a generous lot bordered at the back by wild forest. In an unexpected flurry last fall, it went up for sale and we purchased it! Now we have lots more yard for a vegetable garden (woohoo organics), grandkid play (yay whiffle ball), and campfires under the stars (bravo for not smoking out the neighbors)!
We also inherited a modest-but-functional 1961 mobile home on the property we affectionately call "The Annex." It will serve as good overflow space for summer guests, and an optional place to hang out on rainy days with our old foosball table - now awaiting reassembly after 6 years of service in our daughter's basement.
Life is about cycles. Just when you think one phase has ended, it reopens again with a new twist. I thought the foosball years were behind us, but here we go again!

Very happy for you. Sounds like (except for the extra space to maintain) you're living my dream :) I know you'll have many, many sweet family times there...
