Wealth of Time

Anne LaMotte (author and writing instructor) says true affluence is “this day, this hour, this moment.”  I agree.  All we have is now.

The shiny, brilliant gold coins are already ours, Anne says, in the form of minutes: time is currency. We own all the time we need to be fully present, amazed, and creative.  However, our coins can be easily buried beneath compulsive, manic preoccupations.  To write – or be creative in any way - we must seek a daily “wealth of time spent quietly in beauty.”
