Wally

We arrived home, tired but happy, shortly before midnight - and at 1:00 a.m. are still relishing the afterglow.

What an anniversary celebration we had this past week!  As well as the unexpected surprises mentioned in yesterday’s blog (which only continued today, by the way), our wild-card “plans” for housing and activities (acquired only from internet searches without personal recommendation) turned out perfectly.  Not a single hitch.  Nothing could have been better.  What a blessing!

I didn’t take lots of photos along the way as I was too busy enjoying and savoring each moment.  Still, here is an inspirational one taken of my husband on the shores of Lake Superior with a 91-year-old friend, Wally.
